on Jul 7th 2012 		Please shut the fuck up... the entire skateboard industry is based on kids wanting to emulate their favorite skaters. This is how all art forms evolve. In the beginning we emulate what we see and like and gradually mature and become ourselves and all our influences are in there somewhere. If you think otherwise you are fulling yourself. talking about mark and elijah berle jumping styles is fine but they were kids when that was happening. The only difference is they were documented as they matured, so we see it. Just enjoy the kind of skateboarding you like or move along.

You can't fault him because his heart and eye for skating are clearly in the right place, and he is extremely talented, but he isn't going to go down as one of the best. He isn't even the best on his own team (Austyn). His skating is too studied and planned, it isn't natural, and clearly there are a fair amount of others who see it as well. I do think he's amazing and realize that he's young and has a ton of potential to grow.

Anyone who was any good at all was completely blown away when all his videos came out. And his "sick spots" he does "average tricks" on wouldn't even look like spots to you most likely if you saw them in person.

Definitely got a Puleo-esque eye for weird tricks in weird spots, which is a lot more fun than seeing more stair counting athletes.
