"My brother and I recently made a commercial of Josh Hawkins for Armourdillo Apparel. I sent it in a month ago and was told they didn't like the song choice and wanted more product shots added. After weeks of revising the edit I came across a video online today titled, "shadow skating". This video bared an odd resemblance to the shadow shot featured in our video, as well as a song choice I would find strange for any one to use other than someone like me, who is a huge fan of the film from which it is from. Knowing that the creator of "shadow skating" must have some how seen the edit I sent to Armourdillo, I called Josh and mentioned the name of the editor. Strangely enough he works for theeve which is a sister company with Armourdillo, and must have had access to viewing my edit.

Here is the commercial of Josh Hawkins for Armourdillo the way I want it to be seen. The way it should have been seen weeks ago. Doing so I expect I am forfeiting my compensation, but some things are more important than money. Tehe."

So let me see if I understand this correctly, you fucked over a PAYING CLIENT for something that you SUSPECT someone that works for a SISTER COMPANY did? I kind of hope Armourdillo "apparel" - even though at the end of your video it clearly says they are a belts and accessories company - sues you for using their branding without approval and slander for dragging their name across the internet negatively... maybe garnished wages from whatever name-tag job you can find after failing in the free lance world will teach you a lesson in professionalism. And OF COURSE they asked you to change the song, you think any company wants to pay to get the rights to use a Nick Cave song? Let alone one that couldn't do less to excite a potential customer about a brand or product. Also, you didn't feature a shadow in your video, you say yourself it was a commercial for Josh Hawkins and Armourdillo and you didn't even do a decent job of featuring either of them. You basically featured a ledge in the middle of the desert. Congratulations, you made a boring commercial for a skate spot. All this really shows is that you failed... TWICE... at the same job, and on multiple levels within each of those two failures. First of all, idiot, that song is not "from a movie" If you had a brain in your head you would realize it was USED in a movie and just because you're a fan of said movie (which IS in fact amazing) doesnt mean that you are the only one to have ever seen it. Editing any "real" street skating to this song is a terrible idea. If you went all the way, instead of half-assing it, you might have had something that was worth watching. Don't be a crybaby and try to steal (or coattail) someone elses idea after the fact. The "editor" is more creative than you could ever dream of being, stop bagging and get back in line cunt. Your shit is not even that strong anyway. Find another way to get known.

Forgot those two other comments, I've loved your films since pvwhl and they been on steady repeat in my dvd player. You and your brother film and edit better than 90% of the big companies out there and put more thought into the feeling/vibe of the movie than anyone else. Plagiarism is lame, but also is the highest form of flattery.
